Stage One: Audit and Assess
Before we can begin any work on your site, we need a full audit to know what we’re dealing with.
We want to know what type of content you have on the site, what type of site structure you have, what (if any) errors are on the site, what the on-page SEO looks like, and so on.
We also take a look at your competition to see where you’re falling short in terms of competing with them in the search results.
Once our audit is complete, we analyze the results to come up with a customized plan for your site. This plan will detail the actions that we need to take, why we need to take them, and how we will take them.
During this stage each client gets assigned a dedicated SEO specialist to work with for the duration of the project. Your SEO specialist is the staff member who will be completing all of the work for your project in-house.
Stage Two: On-Site SEO
Based on the data we get from our full audit of your website, we get to work tweaking various things on your website.
Some of the on-site SEO properties that we may need to adjust include:
- Keyword optimization
- Meta and image descriptions
- Title and heading tags
- Site speed
- SSL settings
- Internal links
We can make these changes for you, or we can work with your web developer to get the changes implemented.
Stage Three: Off-Site SEO
Once we have fixed any on-site SEO issues that we noticed during our audit, we move on to your off-site SEO.
From our audit, we look at backlinks that your competitors have that we can acquire for you, as well as other opportunities to boost your link profile so that it’s more robust. This can include blogger outreach, local search profiles, infographics, and more.
